This horse ran at Aqueduct today, notice the blinker colors running behind him.

It was like basketball game today. Cyclone State won by 12 lengths.

It's an Albaugh horse

Played a B/B+ game and won by 20 against a top 25 team. This team is different.
This game reminded me of a parents vs kids type game that we all played at the end of our youth sports seasons as kids.

One team was much better but let the lesser team hang around and think they could win, before putting the screws in

They are going to beat this Utah team by 30. Holy hell they suck.

Best part of the game was in the second half after a made basket, our entire team was smiling ear to ear at each other while running back to play D. We got a TEAM this year that's for sure.

They were mentioning during the broadcast that the guys Otz looks for in the portal are mid-major guys who don't have attitude and like to work. And it shows - especially this year. And I'm sure the way Otz works these guys in practice is like boot camp and it brings them together as a team.

yeah, if trends continue we're both going to be 1-seeds. and while we're at it... it's really fun legitimately chasing a 1-seed this year. i know we've been in the conversation previously (2000, 2001, some of Fred's teams, last year), but it just seems different this year - probably because we're projected as a 1-seed this early in the season.
This is the best ISU MBB team, I think I've ever seen. I've been watching ISU BB a long time. It's hard to not dream of the possibilities with this team.

I’m trying not to file hopes up too high because literally anything can happen in March.

This team passed the eye test for sure. Metrics are elite. And probably the most reassuring thing is that we’ve found so many different ways to win. It seems literally every game it’s some different type and contributions that gets us the win.

As of right now I'd say they're better than the 1999-2001 teams, and that is a high bar to clear. I don't blame Marcus Fizer whatsoever for leaving for the NBA Draft (go get your money when you've earned it has always been my philosophy)... but had we stuck around that 2000-01 team would have been really special - they certainly wouldn't have run out of gas like they did at the end of that season (seroiusly - I was like "uh oh" when we lost to Texas near the end of the regular season).

Very impressive win, almost wire to wire dominance over a good team. ISU has so many ways to score now. When they move and pass they can really find holes in defense. Watching I didn't think it looked like they shot that well actually but then look at box score - 49% and 47% 3pt!
