28, but it took me a year or two longer than usual to graduate from ISU, so I think that entitles me to act younger. At least that's my excuse when I get drunk on a Tuesday, like tonight.

53, ISU class of '80, but didn't get out of there until the end of the Fall quarter. I also took 2 years working at HyVee and living at home between HS and starting ISU trying to decide what to do with my life.

Between good roll models and watching "American Graffiti" which inspired me to do something with my life besides watch TV and buy records I made my way to ISU in Aug 76.

Now I'm 20 months from retirement and looking forward to doing some things I've always wanted to do while I'm still young enough to enjoy it. Too bad my 401k is now about a 101k...

I've become more self realized and now care much less about what people think of me and now am more what I really am in my own head.

I've also met the person who I'm planning to spend the rest of my life with and that has really put the chipper in my step.

Now if ISU could just win some big stuff I could really enjoy that portion of my life. 1999-2000 was a pretty damn good year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just waiting for the next run at a title.

Great to see all you young 'Clones here. Let's put it this way.....my freshman year was 1975!

+ Iowa State was on the 'Quarter System' - know what that is?
+ My first semesters tuition was $614 for 17 hours!!
+ I was there when Disco made it's debut...
+ ........and in those days Playboy Centerfolds didn't shave:wink:
My first thought when I saw the ages - Now I understand some of the posts I read on this board

My daughter is older than most of you who have no reservations (maybe some pride) in telling the world your age in this thread. That makes me older than you, too.

26 going on 40, as I am now in the habit of coming home from work and putting on sweatpants (or other elastic-wasted pant) and slippers...

No offense to any 40 yr olds out there. I just picked an age out of a hat.

I'm 29 and I've been an old man in training for a good 5 years now...

Good to have another SAU alum!

Speaking of which, have you seen the new SAU plates? Not replacing my ISU plates with them, but they're still pretty cool...
