Sigh, even our hammers for this season take bad losses.

Edit: turns out it’s not a “bad” loss, but the match wasn’t close.

Riggins lost to Sneed in finals 8-5.

Barteldt losses 14-9 to Stanford kid. Was down big early, came back in 3rd but not enough.

Herrera wins over Missouri back up Stoner 5-3.

Yes, it is a bad loss. Any loss by a Top 5 guy outside of the Top 10 is a bad loss! I know the guy is RS but he wouldn’t be a top 10.

Chittum was ahead until toward the end of 2nd period. A TD in the 3rd would have giving him the lead. I assume he went for something late.
Not sure if Chittum got injured in 1st period? Millard was able to go to down position early, he escaped for 1st point of match.

I'm basically a wrestling novice that admits I don't know a whole lot about the sport... but are we sure that the issue isn't St. John and Metcalf? I think Dresser is a good CEO type head coach... but are the guys getting the proper training from St. John and Metcalf? Outside of Carr, who is just a natural stud, what guys have really progressed under them? Also... lots of injuries every year too it seems?

Don't be too hard on me.... as I said I'm fairly new to following the sport... I admit I don't know much... just curious what the "experts" think about our training?

Our current 133 and 141 are classic examples of great progression and development. Ech also has came a long ways.

Last couple of heavies have progressed very well.

Of course some guys that havent developed very well but you’ll have that in every program.

For those who were there. How did Riggins,Bartelt, & Herrera look. Why no 174 or 184? Any word on A.E.?
