I mean you have to try to get pressure there, they've been sitting back all game and it hasn't worked. You just hope the pressure gets there before they can throw it.

I couldn't see it but I still think it's odd to not shade a safety over there when Smith sets out wide like that.

Seems like leaving your corner one-on-one with Smith is a terrible idea. Made that an insanely easy throw. At least make Howard have to make a read.

It looked like the lone non blitzing safety was a spy in case Howard ran.

If the CB was up close that would have been a TD because the WR would have blown by him right away.

Plus as a DB you are thinking slant or something quick to get the first down.
