Cannot be overstated what a terrible choke that was by KU. Up six and shooting free throws with 0:17 to go and you lose that game.
The kind of ending that will start turning Kansas fans against self

Not having a round robin schedule and playing Houston only once in Houston certainly sucks, but it's way too early to concede to Houston.

Last time we played Houston, we out toughed the Big 12 bullies and embarrassed them 69-41. Not saying we're gonna whip them again, but I'm confident that once again we'll be the toughest and most physical team they will have played all year.

In all fairness nowadays it seems no one cares about anything other than the conference tournament champions

I don't know about that but the regular season thing is definitely more watered down with the mega conferences.

I said earlier that Houston was legit and would beat Kansas today by 6-10 pts...
...they won by 6. Didn't say it would take 2ots...does that still count?

I don’t really feel like I care about KC this year. Doing something in the Tourney feels so much more important with this team. Same with winning the regular season Big 12, but likely out of reach with this crazy good Houston team.

Announcers for this Auburn-Tennessee game have been acting like it’s been some brutal slugfest but it looks to me like they’ve just been missing a lot of shots.
I trigged Tennessee fans badly when I posted this comment on Reddit, evidently they fancy themselves the best defense in the country.

I agree. Many ISU fans seem to want Auburn to lose games so we can ascend to the #1 AP ranking. I find that rather meaningless personally.

It'd be cool since we've never been there, but its rather meaningless and temporary.

Plus if Auburn does drop, Duke will likely grab the #1 and never let go until tournament time due to how ass the ACC is.

I would love to see that, but Duke plays in an ass conference and isn’t going to lose anytime soon. #1 isn’t happening so I agree better to have Auburn win at this point.

This is college basketball. Houston will stub their toe in a road game they're expected to win. Way too early to proclaim them conference champs.

It is nice, though, that the conference season is only 40% over and KU already has two home losses (three losses total).

Also I’d like everyone else in the SEC to lose games, gives us a better shot at a #1 seed.

Auburn crowd really does not like any fouls being called on their team.

Yeah Duke has next shot at number one until they lose and with the ACC that might not be for awhile

ISU being #1 even if it's for like a week would be fun but I'm more occupied with how things are going in mid-March.

If you start from the assumption that Duke and Auburn will have 1 seeds, I think we just want everyone else in the top 10 to lose as much as possible, except maybe Marquette
