Probably a better outcome for us. No way Auburn isn't getting a one seed. We will have to beat out Tennessee for one probably.
Yep we want Tennessee and Bama to keep picking up losses, especially if we want the 1 seed in the MidWest. SEC is gonna get a big time bump on Selection Sunday.

Houston is somewhat like Auburn in that every time I watch them the ball is bouncing their way. Winning on the road when you’re down six with 0:17 to go and the opponent’s point guard shooting two free throws is maybe the most unlikely thing that’s happened in NCAA basketball in the past ~20 years.

Roberts travels badly every time he does his one post move, never gets called.

Stick them in a game that’s officiated like our WVU game was and they are cooked.

The biggest outlier in the run for the conference championship is the road game @Houston and no return date to Ames. On a neutral court we're the best team in the conference. Big12 tournament and NCAA's will prove it imo. Houston didn't do anything in that game to prove to me they're the team to beat. KU has no frontcourt depth. Dickinson hit a wall in that second half and made Roberts look like an AA with his crappy defense. Aren't Dickinson and Bidunga the only 2 playing over 6'7"? Anyway, Houston is very beatable and should have lost that game along with @ UCF. I think we'll match up great against them and like our chances in Houston if the game is officiated fairly.

Of course ISU has to hold up its end, but best-case is Auburn staying at 1 line and as many of SEC in the 1-2-3 range tumbling a few times. Duke would have to pee the bed at this point not to get a 1, probably.

Two 1 seeds are taken unless something crazy happens (Auburn and Duke).

Iowa State
Houston
Florida
Tennessee
Alabama

Those five fighting for other two 1 seeds. Others can obviously get in that group is they go on a massive run but to me there is a tier of those 7 teams that are kind of above the rest at this point.

Yeah the B1G has not had a good week. Sparty is gonna sleep walk to a conference title.
Michigan State remaining schedule:

Minnesota
at USC
at UCLA
Oregon
Indiana
at Illinois
Purdue
at Michigan
at Maryland
Wisconsin
at Iowa
Michigan

Some places MSU could stumble on the road, I don't foresee any home losses except maybe the U-M due to rivalry. Probably worst-case 4 losses. All but 3 other teams already have at least that many.

Fredskers need a win today, they are on a five-game losing streak.

Duke and Auburn running away with this makes me worried we’re going to get sent out West for regionals. Especially if Houston wins the league.

3 loses is my guess. At Illinois, probably a west coast loss as that’s a new experience, and split Michigan games but could also only see one for sure loss being at Illinois.

Easy conference champ, probably 2 seed but could get a 1 seed due to the name on the front of the jerseys instead of the record.

Basically agree but every year I think Tennessee is gonna be a contender and they always fold.
They are very similar metrics wise to ISU last season. Really dominant defense, offense that can disappear at time, really mentally strong and can impose themselves on the other team.

About made me spit out my coffee

Meme gif. The Pointing Rick Dalton meme. In a scene from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton sits up from an armchair and points intently out of frame.
