Utah and WVU win so we won't gain any on them. Arizona at Colorado is just starting.

KSU just iced the game versus TCU with a late run.
KSU is spunky...Sundell is the best player in the conference I think. Now if Van Lith had shot this way against us it would have been their second loss.

Potentially a pretty good matchup on BTN at 7:00 pm, Hawkeyes at Gophers.

Gophers should be fired up after having to played both USC and UCLA back-to-back in LA. Gophers should be plenty motivated, the last matchup was a 48 point blowout and they have a 10 game losing streak to Iowa. Good news for Gophers is they are playing good basketball and I believe they actually matchup pretty well versus this first post-Clark Hawkeye team. Expecting a good game.

And UConn @ Tennessee on ESPN so a good night for WBB hoops. And Stanford at ND for no other reason than to see the ND star guards. Same for the Texas game, guards to watch.

Iowan, Iowa alumna and former ISU assistant from decades again, Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, is finding the going a lot tougher at Georgia in the SEC than at during her stints at Albany and UCF. Another sub-.500 season right now and going to get blasted by South Carolina tonight, 30 point dogs at home. Bulldogs re in last place in the SEC.

Iowa had a heck of a time getting there. Tweet from the Iowa WBB communications director:

Depends on the weather - if the weather is fine I think they fly out of Ames - Snowy / Icy conditions they go in / out of Des Moines. I do not think Ames has some of the equipment to handle some conditions.

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks.

Well, UConn at Tennessee delivered. Rocky Top finally got their win over a ranked team after falling so many times by a few points.

Gopher not delivering so far versus Iowa. Down by 11 while scoring a measly 21 points.

Iowa is going to have the toughest 10ish games in America remaining and find a way to make the tournament.

Blows my mind that nobody can’t stop stuelke

Gophers post player is going to cost them the game

Well ****, I was hoping the Iowa women’s team would go quietly into the night. Instead, they go from out to probably in the tournament. 2 impressive wins I thought for sure they would lose.

Big win for Iowa and big loss for Gophers. More than the Border Battle, sort of a Bubble Battle and gives Iowa another Quad 1 win.

Feuerbach had a good game, 13 pts and good defense and ball handling. Affolter with 14 rebounds and 13 points.

Gopher freshman McKinney with 16 points, pretty good for a gal only ranked as the 4th best recruit in the state. Than again the gals above her included ESPN Top 20 recruits like Olivia Olson and Liv McGill who are tearing it up at Michigan and Florida. Wish one or the other had stated home!

On a different note. Saw again tonight that Aubrey Joens again did not play for OU
What does she have left for eligibility? Wonder if she'd have any interest in transferring back? Probably not but I liked her when she transferred.
