Can never complain about winning a conf game in a blowout. Great game Cyclones. Guys seemed more focused, Milan shot the ball well, Cujo got his shooting touch back. Def was pretty good at times. We just need to be sharper with our passing and decision making.

Agree but we basically exchanged missed shots from the KU game to turnovers in this game. We shot very, very well so extra turnovers are “okay”. I’ll take a few more turnovers in exchange for less dribble dribble hero ball.

Quite a few TCU is not good posts this thread but give the Clones some credit!
It was a nice bounceback. It was a slopfest early and was a good thing that TCU played poorly because it allowed Iowa State to get their legs under them but once they did they looked like the team before the Caleb Love shot.

Having him in the right corner when Keshon drives right is a thing again and it works.

Yep. His defender has to stick with him and someone has to help if he gets the feed and dribbles.

Clean up the unforced turnovers and some still-questionable drives into a clogged paint and we can beat a lot of teams playing like that. Milan and Curt won't always combine for nine threes, but the rest of the team won't always combine for an 0-fer.

I know it was noted throughout in-game action and probably afterward, need some focus on ball-handling. In general, unforced turnovers aspect is a hindrance and uncharacteristic of how we generally have played, but recently seems even more sloppy.

Attempting a bounce pass on a drive in the lane to a 6-10 guy is not advisable. But our bigs seem to have butterfingers even on decent/simply passes.

Keshon seems to be bringing the ball up and playing the point-guard role (even with Tamin on the floor) a lot more than last year.

While I didn't technically make my prediction claim in this thread, I did text my alum friend this morning that we were back and would win by 30:
