What did they say about them? I noticed ESPN had them in the "should be in" territory on their first bubble watch. Torvick has them as a bubble team also.

It makes zero sense to me except for extreme name bias on both sites. Their resume is terrible.
I just mean in general. No comments tonight that I heard.

It’s just the difference between playing in a one bid conference as opposed to a multi bid conference. The MVC isn’t very good. How else can you explain a good Division 2 roster coming into Drake and dominating.
For sure. But for me, it makes cheering for those 1 bid conference teams that make the tournament fun. I'm a sucker for that movie Hoosiers.

Yea, I like it usually too, but I guess my point was, it appears ok players coming from that conference and going to multi bid or P5 conferences (Heise, Born, etc…) have overinflated stats at their previous schools due to the relative suck of the league

I just don’t get iowa. They just find ways to stay in or win these games . Not sure if it’s the sleepy environment or maybe it’s an Iowa goes 100% and other teams sleepwalk. But given the talent they have and the fact they lost their only physical post player just amazes me that they can play in these games..
Their “physical post player” is terrible on the defensive end.

Like with Heise, the athleticism is there, but the bball skill just quite hasn't caught up. I have no doubt if he had another year he'd round out his game. I definitely do not want to ruffle feathers with that take, but it takes adjustment. Look at Tamin freshman year offensively compared to year two in the Big 12.

He does have another year, FYI. Medical waiver from last year I think

Duke will get hammered inside the first good team they play in the tournament.

Clemson's not great but just kind of solid everywhere which may bring them another run in March.

Instead of Auburn, Florida, or Houston? Ya. For sure it’s Duke.
I’m fine with Florida too, getting obliterated by Tenn and only scoring 44 points on the road is exactly the weakness I want to see in an opponent. Houston would also be annoying but they haven’t made it past the sweet 16 as a 1 seed in over 40 years which is wild.

Auburn, hell no
