Not exactly sure.
Would you be upset if the national anthem was no longer played at sporting events? I've heard a lot of people say they wish performers would just get it overwith to get to the games. What's your thoughts?

I'm not sure what the National Anthem has to do with sporing events. As the president of a local high school sports league for several years, I was often asked by parents why we weren't doing the National Anthem before our games. I always told them that if they wanted to organize it, I'd be happy to make time available for it before each game. Nobody ever followed through.

I'd like to keep it. Not every interpretation has been great, but there have been some phenomenal ones. Whitney is still one of my favorites. But she was a upper upper echelon talent.
Not just SB, but college, HS, whatever level. I know at middle school or younger events, it is not played. I mean at any sporting event

Oh I dunno, I dont have a problem with it. Sometimes youll get local kids participating and it means a lot to them. Fun to hear that out some times. Would it be tragic if they stopped, no, but I dont mind hearing it.

Not needed unless it's an international game featuring the US national team playing another country. Those players are actually US citizens.

Half the roster of an NBA team are international and don't really relate to the US national anthem anyways. Other country's domestic leagues don't play anything prior to the game and just start the game.

I generally enjoy it as kind of a formal introduction to the event. I don't know how it got connected to sporting events though, and I guess I don't know that it would be some huge loss if it ended.

It's at it's best at college football games when the band is playing it.

It should go.

Its way out of place and unnecessary. Lets take this event where there's all kinds of hype building pregame, and stop that dead in its tracks with a slow-ass song.

Also, not a huge fan of our national anthem in general. Its should have been America the Beautiful.

I include it with a bunch of different stuff that just takes away from the game that's not needed so I lean to the 'leave it out' column.

If it is played, keep it short.
