How do u know that every other car dealership didn't already have the $1,000 built in? I am not justifying what they did, but variable pricing, based on demand, is common. Look at hotels, restaurants, airlines, concert tickets, etc. It's not going away.Does every car dealership raise the price of a used car $1,000 in the 15 minutes it took me to drive over there to purchase it?
I agree with these examples, just not generalized comments.Same thing with my wife and a sump pump. They also spent about 5 minutes looking at my furnace to tell me it was a lost cause and needed a $13,000 new unit. Got another company to come out and fixed it within 5 minutes and it's been running fine all winter.
I dont trust them at all. If you look on Google they have a 4.9/5 rating and lots of negative reviews about upselling and not fixing. Then if you go on Yelp they have a 1.9/5 rating. Something is very sketchy if your ratings are that different.
Well for starters, he's currently at ISU and has the 7th-best odds to win the title this year, so pretty clear that part is true. Why isn’t TJ guaranteed to succeed at IU, but can win a title at ISU?
Is it their 2x to 3x NIL budget?
Everyone that is connected will tell you we need to increase our support to compete for a title, aka retain coaches. It’s got to be old for this staff to go into the offseason bringing a knife to a gunfight

You reference "if we continue to slide in player development....."We had the 6th or 7th best odds going into last year too. Illinois, with worse odds, was the better team imo.
I think it’s clear we’re close to it being true, but that may change if we continue to slide in player compensation and AD revenue, which is primarily the point. We need to support TJ more, as even the “dream school discount” has limits
At IU he’s not losing out in adding Hadley this past offseason. He probably has another two-way player last season, like a Darrion Williams.
That’s got to be frustrating for the staff. As much as we’re confident he can have unprecedented success here, he would at IU as well. Probably even more important, does TJ think he’d have as much (or more) success at a place like IU? I’d bet he does
I had been working with them on this deal for at least 1 week as they needed the mechanics to check out a break issue that I pointed out.How do u know that every other car dealership didn't already have the $1,000 built in? They can do that already with the tip feature. The teams/organizations working the stands get the tips. One HUGE way to help with NIL.... Gotta get the Point of Sale stations inside Hilton and JTS to allow "rounding up" when using the credit/debit card. What a great way to get fans to throw in a few $ that otherwise likely not donate directly.
I agree, that is bs. Review the **** out of them on all available sites.I had been working with them on this deal for at least 1 week as they needed the mechanics to check out a break issue that I pointed out.
They lowered the price on the website. I called the sales guys to verify they still had the car and the price was $x. He said yep so I head that way. Get there and the sales mgr wouldnt honor the price (I had a screen shot) as market fluctuation. ***** wouldnt even come out of his office to talk to me.
Illinois was the better team that day. A player like Coleman Hawkins clearly present problems for TJ's/Green's no-middleWe had the 6th or 7th best odds going into last year too. Illinois, with worse odds, was the better team imo.

These things don't operate in a vacuum. A coach at IU is going to deal with a line donors expecting access and influence in exchange for their $upport. NIL has only made that worse. Rick Pitino was on a Barstool pod recently and pushed him as well.FWIW, through casual viewing of Indiana’s fan discussions there are quite a few of them that believe Chris Beard to IU is already a done deal. Keeping my fingers crossed that’s true
He’s a great basketball coach but when Beard’s main concern is character issues I’m not sure Rick Pitino is the endorsement I would wantRick Pitino was on a Barstool pod recently and pushed him as well.
You’re assuming that he doesn’t deal with that sh*t at Iowa State, at least on some level?Illinois was the better team that day. A player like Coleman Hawkins clearly present problems for TJ's/Green's no-middle
