Mike Busch to NFL instead of MLB. Admittedly I have no idea what his draft rating was at the time. But he was a consensus AA tight end.

Jeff Grayer. A special player whose knee injury derailed him early in his NBA career.
I feel sorry for the younger Cyclone fans that didn't get to see him play. Just an amazing athlete that was silky smooth and did things almost every game that would just wow you.

Ken Griffey Jr. No doubt he would have retired at the all time greatest baseball player had he not turned into sugar glass once he signed with the Reds.

Actor James Dean. Would have have actually been considered a legendary actor or was he just a young hunk that would have faded as fast as he came on. Sometimes people are more famous because they died early and didn't get a chance to either prove themselves or find out they actually sucked.

Griffey also lost playing time while in Seattle, there never was a sweeter swing than what Griffey had. Just a joy to watch play. He was my oldest son's favorite player and we took him down to KC to watch Seattle play. The Royals at the time would choose a woman out of the stand and blindfold her and put her in the outfield to find a diamond they had put down in the turf. The gal never found it, except the time Griffey was out there warming up, and he walked over and was telling her which way to crawl to find it. She found it and the crowd erupted, Griffey was just giggling over the whole thing. What a special player.

Him and Daryl Strawberry had the best swings. Also, JD Drew had a sweet swing. He was just lazy. Speaking of Straw, Him and Doc Gooden had cocaine not exist would be good for this category.

Going to put an ISU spin on mine, Marcus Fizer if he was not drafted by the Chicago Bulls. Have mentioned this before, the NBA during that time was drafting centers and PF early in the draft and had Luka Garza played around that same time I bet he easily would have been a top 10 pick too. Back to Fizer... the Bulls already had Elton Brand at PF but the Clippers picked Darius Miles at pick 3 which is who the Bulls wanted so instead of going with someone like Mike Miller or DeMarr Johnson that would of filled a need they picked Fizer and tried to turn him into a SF which he was not. I always wondered if he would of had a better NBA career had he started with Orlando who had the next pick instead of Chicago as Orlando actually needed a PF that year instead of winding up being Elton Brand's backup while also trying to play some SF too. I think the Clippers maybe were hoping to force the Bulls into a trade to get Miles which is why they picked him and that blew up on them instead.

If you look back on that draft it turned out to be a pretty weak draft in general with a lot of busts or guy that were nothing more than decent role players. Only 3 guys from that class ever made an All-Star game and each of them only made one appearance: Kenyon Martin who was the #1 overall, Jamall Magloire who was #19 and Michael Redd who a 2nd rounder and #43 and possibly had one of the best NBA careers in that draft class.
