I'm not saying that BYU won't be one of the tougher teams we may play all year, but have a little faith. We will be motivated, and will win this game!

If it was at BYU I think maybe not, the way they are playing.

Besides, BYU has to play at our low altitude, so.

Demin will be a problem. He is a 6'9 PG that was a 5 star. Though he is prone to turning the ball over.

Getting gameday thread ready. Another 8 pm home game. Why do we have to start late just because we are playing teams out west?

BYU doesn’t shoot the ball as well on the road but this game still scares me. 3 point shooting teams can cancel out a lot of what our defense does

Perimeter defense will be the key. Can't let Richie Saunders go off.
Just as importantly can't let Saunders get in your head. Remember he orchestrated that flagrant on the free throw rebound last year? He talked about how he planned it and executed it in a pod interview after. He even turned to the bench before he did it and told them, "Watch this."

He will identify someone who is a little frustrated and set them up for a cheap tech or flagrant. Don't play his game.

1:55 on this video.

Did he get someone to elbow him?

BYU is interesting. All their coaches plus the nutritionist have pro experience. It is being run like a pro team. That is why players are going there. That and the Morman's $$$, BYU will be a threat every year. Lots of 3's tonight.

I cannot figure out the line on this game. Vegas sure likes us. I like us to win but man that's alot of points.

They have 2 freshmen that are major contributions. Hilton isn't normally very kind to freshmen. That has to be part of Vegas's thinking.

I edited my post to include the video of Saunders talking about it and watching the film...

He's a weasel.
If someone was going to lose his cool/essentially seal ISU's fate that night, I'm glad it was one of the bigs who let him know he's a twerp... Heise is probably the only one I worry about now, he doesn't just jaw with fans on the road, I think he was talking to Cryer in Houston. He didn't retaliate physically in the multi-technical Cincinnati and Oklahoma State games though
