Our big lead is gone.
dragon breatheMy buddy and I have referred to him as the "mouth breather" since he was at Illinois.
Oh, come on, $15,000 is not going to get you much.If I had a dollar for every time announcers said of our opponent "for as bad as they have played/shot, they are still only ____ points down" we could buy every player we need in the NIL. We need to make hay when we can, but we don't.
What’s up with this team playing to the level of the competition? Get a lead then back off on the intensity. Going into a coasting mode. Even the bench players have lost their energy. I blame the CEO for getting his haircut.
Doubting the most successful coach we’ve ever had at ISU is certainly an approach. Have I mentioned that he has had all of this success in just 4 years?sure hopr TJ can recruit some real players
Off ball screens. Back cuts. Lob plays. Spacing properly for isos. All different ways to play that could work with this roster40 seconds left, instead of going 2 for 1. We chuck up a three too late, then foul. This Hal court offense isn’t going to get it done, just has to be totally revamped. You just can’t rely on ballscreen every time down at this level unless you got 3 nba guys. Simply have to get more off ball screens going.
Simple as this. They need to run more stuff and work harder off ball to get good looks. It's basically just hope one of your guys beats their guy a huge part of the time and I just don't think that's putting your players in the best position to succeed.40 seconds left, instead of going 2 for 1.
