I really think the lineup uncertainty and weight issues are causing lasting problems in this team. I know Dresser’s stance is to let the guys figure it out, but really think he needs to be actively involved this summer to set the lineup.

I think he will learn from this year and things will be in motion very early for next year. This season is probably killing Dresser as much as it is the fans

Also, it will be an active portal season. Buy Blood Round and donate to the C&G collective please. We have the core to be very good next year. A couple of pieces added and better injury luck will give us a very fun 2025

Schultz didn't get the RT until midway through the 3rd period, so that was not a factor when the decision was made for Herrera to choose down. Getting an escape or a TD is difficult either way, but maybe they were hoping to get the escape, go into OT and get after a gassed Schultz. Just giving a different possible perspective on why down was the choice.
