Why do some of you hate drake so much? I'm not saying anyone needs to root for them, but I don't get the animosity.

I don’t hate Drake, but it’s a zero sum game. If not Iowa St, it’s a “what can this do for Iowa St” view point on everyone else

I don’t cheer for the little guy anymore. We are the little guy now. The Big 12 needs every at-large we can get

And I always root against Drake and UNI. The state and State hardly support Iowa St sufficiently as it is.

To trivialize, I think we can all agree Drake being at the level of Creighton would not be good for Iowa St. We don’t need to fight for sponsorship or ad dollars or attention, or even people spending money on Drake

I get some view Drake so lowly that patronizingly rooting for them is a nothing burger, but given my college interests are 100% with Iowa St, I’ll root against them and any other school fundamentally parasitic to Iowa St

On a similar note, hopefully UNI all these D3 schools in Iowa eventually get culled to help Iowa St in the demographic cliff

I don't root against Drake or UNI, it's more of an "I could not care less" attitude. Now EIU, screw them, hope they lose every game.

What teams ahead of us on bracket matrix are we clearly ahead of?

Auburn, Duke, Bama, Florida, Tennessee, Houston, Texas Tech, Michigan State and maybe St Johns. I might be missing someone.

I do wonder if ISU and Tech make it to big 12 finals and ISU wins they probably jump Tech on seed line. Assuming they are below them now
