It was really just a few minutes away from happening last year; they had an 8-point lead over Washington State with six and a half minutes left and then just fell apart.

That was the second straight season they lost a late-game lead; they were also up by 8 against Miami back in '23 before also blowing it.

I think that's an honest and fair knock against DeVries, and why I would have had some serious reservations if I were a WVU fan. We'll see how they do with McCollum in about ten days or so.

This is a horrible take. Our past does not define our program. As fans we need to confidently back the team each year and support them no matter what opponent or adversity is ahead and not create 'little brother' scenarios.
