Purdue losing to Illinois tonight certainly helps our hopes for a 3-seed. Win tomorrow and root for Missouri to beat Kentucky. Puts us in a better spot for a 3-seed. Root for Texas A&M or Texas Tech to get upset tomorrow as well.
Too bad Lunardi sucks because I would take this draw all day every day

Way-Too-Early men's Bracketology: Defending champion Florida returns to the top line
Florida benefited from the transfer portal -- and some key NBA draft withdrawals -- to get to the top line.www.espn.com
I'd wager you're just basing that off the two championships. This year's squad is not good. One bracket thing that I keep thinking about, it sure seems like UConn is locked into an 8/9 seed. I would HATE to be the 1 seed who gets that draw, but would love to be the 2/3 on the otherside. That seems like a team that absolutely has the players to take a 1 seed out in the first weekend, but that you also wouldn't hate seeing in the elite 8. Strange team.
And I'd wager you're putting too much stock in the horrific trip to Maui they had.I'd wager you're just basing that off the two championships. This year's squad is not good.
No. Could be placed in any region other than Houston's (assuming UH remains on 1 line). At this point that's probably either Midwest or West.If we go to Milwaukee and win, do we know where we would go for the Sweet 16/Elite 8?

Edit/note: I think there are "override" elements that could place both UH and ISU in same region as 1/3.
They are pretty straight forward. Just don’t now your region until selection Sunday. Only real way to know where you are playing before the reveal is to be one of the top 1 seeds.I have to be in Georgia for my nephew's wedding on March 29, so I was hoping for us to be in the Atlanta Region.
I hate that they don't have straight-forward brackets from the start of the tournament.
Nah, I've watched them a lot, they suck. And I'd wager you're putting too much stock in the horrific trip to Maui they had.
They are 22-9, three of those L's came in three days in Maui and another 3 came when McNeeley (a likely lottery pick) was out injured. They are not as good as they have been the last two years, but they have three NBA guys with McNeeley/Karaban/Ball and experience. Of the projected 8/9 seeds, they are last one I'd want to see if I was a 1 seed.
