Going to miss his defense. Heise found some offense when KG went down & Momcilovic has also been on an upswing. Seth had us in the Final Four but switched to MSU. Can make Sweet 16 but depends if Lipsey is 100% after that.

I think there are gonna be some hefty upsets the first weekend. Do I think we are a Final Four team? We aren't a top four team no. But my bracket upsets paved the way for it. I think A&M beats Auburn (they already did by 10+ earlier this year) and Marquette upsets Michigan State. We handle Marquette again and then A&M to go to the FF.

Testifying
Win 1 for sure, after that who knows. Ole Miss or UNC will be very sketchy and don't forget that Chris Beard knows ISU very well.

Just really sucks, best chance we've had since the Fizer/Tinsley team in 2000 and it's all gone just like that. Could be 2050 before we have this good of a team again.
My man, life isn't this bad.

I had them at s16 before and still do.

Unless we find out Tamin hurt worse than we think, and then will need luck to get there even.

Maybe w a little luck and healthy Tamin they can win 3 but im.not expecting it.

Let me know the Powerball numbers Nostradamus. We could be great next year for all you know.

It's important to note the 99-00 team was picked lastish in the conference and wasn't ranked until like mid February.

Basketball's kinda nuts!

I got A&M and Marquette getting knocked out right away. I think Michigan could go down right away too. Would love to see New Mexico beat Michigan State.

Not sure I'd ever go into a NCAA tournament with expectations, but with KG, the ceiling was a national title, regardless of a favorable bracket or anything else. Without him, I think everyone will need to step up, and our margin for error got a lot smaller.

The good news is that this is not a brand new problem. The team and staff have had a chance to adjust, play with lineups, and develop new options with what they have. Plus, most teams would kill to have a Tamin Lipsey, Curtis Jones, Joshua Jefferson and Milan Momcilovic. That's one hell of a group even without Gilbert.

I like our draw a lot, even if healthy Keshon final 4 is a big ask. Hoping we make a sweet 16
