Ur insane…

I appreciate the Iowa hate. I really do.

But putting that aside, we don’t have anyone returning that has demonstrated to be better all-around offensively. Certainly from a scoring perspective.

Milan has potential, but he’s yet to realize it. Thus far he’s been outstanding in the catch and shoot role. As fans it’s not unusual we want to assume he’s automatically taking the next step. With Gilbert out, he’ll have the opportunity to do so now.

That whole team is gone, isn't it?
Sandfort surprised me! But yes, you're correct.

Harding/Freeman/Sandfort in the portal already. Dix/Traore/Dembele on the way I think. Older Sandfort and Thelwell out of eligibility. So that'll be the top 8 all gone.

Suprised Harding entered. Not going to be many high majors that will want him

He could be an all league type guy in the Valley if the right people are in his ear.

Hell, UNI would be a great option. Starting point guard is out until the first of the year with an Achilles.

If he waits, there are typically desperate high majors willing to grab a player like him too.

Whoever comes in will definitely cut bait on Mulvey. The other big is out of eligibility too I think.

I think they all essentially HAVE to enter at this time. They have no guarantee they have a spot at Iowa.
Walker, Jackson, and Conditt all stuck it out once Otz was hired. All guys contributed the following year too, granted the two guys that could've came back for another year didn't. I imagine conversations will need to be had. But the guys I thought would stay and kind of rebuild around were Pryce and Dix.

With a coaching change, most players would be foolish not to put their name in. Some of them could still come back, though.
In this era of NIL, with a coaching change a kid would be stupid not to enter the portal. At worst Sandfort get same money from new coach.

Same for Harding, new coach probably not going to pull Hardings scholarship, but might not want to pay him same as Fran. So Harding might as well know what his market value is before new coach named.

What's our budget during this "free agency" market? Anyone have any insight?
