I'm a little curious what the arena is like tonight. Judging by Friday there will be a ton of Illini fans there, but many of those I'd expect to leave for the drive home considering it will already be later on Sunday night. There was a good Kentucky contingent on Friday, but I don't really expect their numbers to be larger. They also have a travel concern. The Ole Miss fans that are coming we're all here on Friday. I think the arena will be kind of emptying out somewhat for our game unless Cyclone fans beat out Illini fans for tickets.
If the bigs play well OR if ISU is hot from 3, then ISU wins.
If they cant win inside, and shoot poorly, its gonna be a nail biter and a tough row to hoe.

We need to treat Ole Miss like they've only won 1 March Madness game in 10 years!

My posts are often satirical and lighthearted. I do not expect us to actually switch up the rotation and play bench freshman, etc. That is the sarcasm. But what if they did?

Baylor just beat Mississippi State a few days ago and Mississippi State beat Ole Miss twice, home and away this year.
Normally, I’m a ball of nerves for NCAA Tournament games but felt calm and ready for Lipscomb and feel very good about tonight too.

The Cosplay Confederates have some good guards. That Pedulla kid MURDERED us when he was at VaTech. They also don't turn the ball over much. That worries me considerably for our defense especially with Tamin's lateral movements impacted by his groin.
With our current injuries coupled with the fact that they should be able to mostly hang with us in physicality....... I just don't have a good feeling about this game.
With that said..... man I hope we see some heroics from our guys and my negative thoughts are proven wrong!!
