Can we get some 2 year contracts in this sport so we aren’t left speculating on who stays and goes every post season?
Then you'd be wanting salary caps and free agency regulation for a bunch of teenagers and kids with underdeveloped brains. I mean come on. What's next ... maybe setting some of these funds into trust accounts for their well being after age 25? Crazy!

Some people here will think this is a good thing. I don't.
Kind of hard to know what to think without knowing the financial details. I enjoyed watching him play as a Cyclone and wish him the best, and if the door remains open and he decides to come back I'll be happy.

Happy now?
His Twitter/instagram good-bye and the fact that he will attend a bottom dweller in the ACC tells you a lot about his goals and priorities. It wasn’t a long term fit for Iowa State but I wish him well.

I was so pumped for him to be here but not sure he lived up to the hype. He was serviceable and great FT shooter but for how big he is, he is incredibly soft and struggled catching the ball a lot in the post. KU game at home was a highlight imo. Wish him the best, he might be a great fit for the big ten
Seemed to struggle with his conditioning as well. Even when he wasn't getting in foul trouble, it seemed he could only go short stretches before getting gassed and having to sub out, and his minutes per game weren't very high either.

While I wish the best for Dishon and all of our players that decide to leave, (I want them all to succeed even if not with us) I did feel like for a lot of situations, Chatfield did give us more reliable minutes. There were games that Dishon seemed more motivated than others. It makes me wonder if he didn't want to come off the bench if we found a better center. He was a decent big, I didn't want to lose him. Rather see him improve next year.

It's funny how some want to nanny the money athletes make but everyone is OK with 18 year olds making money in other industries. We've got similar aged people making 100k plus in government jobs working for Elon but these athletes need guard rails.
