I'm not singling out Jackson here, but it just seems strange to me that less than 24 hours ago you could be a starter in an NCAA tournament game and then out the door the next day. Makes you wonder how committed some one can be if they know they are leaving. I get it's the reality of how this all works now, but still just seems off. Again, I don't mean to say anything bad about Dishon, he played hard and I thank him for everything he did this year for us.
I guess the fact that his play, and that of any other player looking to move on, goes a long way in determining schools interested and money offered would be enough of an incentive not to just go through the motions in his final games at ISU. But I get what you're saying.

Really if we're being honest, there are more than a few players in the NIL era who aren't really invested in which school, which conference, W's & L's, etc. They just want the maximum payday and everything else is secondary.

This drove me nuts in the Ole Miss Game-
Down 11 at half.
Second Half-
1st posession: Jackson buried his defender, made layup
2nd posession: Jackson buried his defender, finger roll +2

Now Down 7-
3rd posession, ISU TO
4th- ISU TO
5th-7th Chuck 3s

Ole Miss pushed the lead to about 15.

Maybe not exactly what happened,
But, FEED THE DAMN BIG, who was making his defender look like a HS soph.....

Kayden Fish also leaving per the DSM Register. I guess that is where the 'we need 3 post players' was coming from. But I didn't know about Fish untili right now. Ugg. I wanted to see him stay and get better.

Yeah at the start of the 2nd half I was excited because Jackson scored the first two times, and we seemed like that gave some energy. Lasted for about 2 min.

That was kind of how the whole season went.

I'd like to see how many times a potential 8-10 point run was cut short by someone dribbling out of bounds, forcing a dribble or a heat check without actually hitting a 3.

Can we get some 2 year contracts in this sport so we aren’t left speculating on who stays and goes every post season?
At this point, I am hoping no one pushes the envelope and tries to institute a new “free agent” period at the semester break.

This isnt hard folks. I think TJ knows what he is doing here. Dishon could be a liability on the offensive side of the floor.

It was reported Oscar Cluff was on campus today. Oscar was #1 in Player Efficiency Rating in college basketball this year. Past winners of that prestige in the last 15 years include Zach Edey, Keegan Murray, Luka Garza, Zion Williamson, Frank Kaminsky, Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins.

He is a bit under the radar because he played at South Dakota State and has a bit of an old man Georges Niang type of game.

You pair him w Jefferson in the post...that is big time!
