You won’t see Ono wrestle at PSU for more than a couple years. He already has several years of college in plus the Olympics in 2028.

I'm pretty sure he was kicked off the team b/c of legal problems related to alcohol. He was a great wrestler.

He was suspended and was going to remain that way until he completed rehab and cleaned up his act. He was still doing all of the things, so ISU and KJ refused to lift the suspension. Ole Cael was more than happy to take him and immediately put him in the lineup. And we have seen how all that worked out. Not good.

I was famously hard on KJ but give him kudos for sticking to his guns on Long.

I’m down for it only to have more interactions like Saturday where Joe is on the radio call trying to explain how the splits move is a gymnast thing and Nate is giggling and is too much on the straight-and-narrow to tell him it’s a stripper move and gymnasts wouldn’t be proud of it.

I also believe he was kicked out of PSU before his eligibility was up to. Kid partied waaay too hard and there were also rape accusations in his time in Happy Valley. (No pun intended) Kid was an absolute disaster off the mat. I may be wrong, but I thought he got his very last chance at Grandview.
