Twins will finish 3rd or 4th in the Central. Payroll is going down again this year.

Payroll hasn't gone down yet and they have talent. If that talent develops, they could do better.

I think they are in a holding pattern until the ownership stuff gets figured out. That could be good news or that could be bad news.

Maybe the new owner is garbage and demand they become the lowest spending team in baseball.

Maybe the new owner is great and wants to add some amount quickly.

Sure seems like it. Seems like they are looking to win and willing to spend, just based on what they've done with the Suns. Now it'll be the other brother more in charge, so maybe he's different.

Now lets say they agree on a deal prior to opening day. It doesn't get finalized until mid-season, but I'd imagine something could happen before then. I'd think the deal could be for $X plus an money spent above a certain threshhold by the current owners. Or maybe it just waits until next year.

I think think it'll be a garbage owner. Any prospective owner has got to realize that in general, fans are pissed off and pissing them off even more probably just reduces the value of the Twins as a whole.

The Ishbias grew up Tigers fans, have stake in Chicago, went to college in Nashville, own a soccer team in Nashville. Maybe they try to move the Twins to Nashville? That was always my concern. Hopefully there are some other interested parties. But yes, this sucks for Twins fans.

The Ishbias grew up Tigers fans, have stake in Chicago, went to college in Nashville, own a soccer team in Nashville. Maybe they try to move the Twins to Nashville? That was always my concern. Hopefully there are some other interested parties. But yes, this sucks for Twins fans.

Makes you wonder if the deal to extend the Target Field lease came into play. If so, I'm glad the Ishbia's are out.

And it will be nice to be able to just turn the game on on a random Tuesday night if I want to and for that price, hard not to bite. Not used to begin to tune in (unless they play the god forsaken white sox).

I doubt the price goes up. $19.99 per month and $99 for the season is the same thing they did with 2 teams last year in the same situation.

I love baseball on in the background while doing other things.

Hold out for unrealistic price. Eventually take the team off the market. Lower payroll because ticket sales were lower than expected. Clown show.

Sucks that the information in coming out so late, but here is what I found in regards to watching Twins games this summer. I have not yet purchased Twins.TV as I was waiting for the list of cable providers.

It sounds like the final list will come out some time today.
