Looks like Brock going to get paid $300 million over 6 years, $250 million guaranteed. Makes him Top 11 in QB salary!
Is there anyone saying this other than Craig Carton? I've never heard of the guy until about 2 minutes ago and have no idea what he does.
I was hoping he gets traded to another team. If he does well in SF, all credit will go to Shanahan and supporting cast
As goofy as SF can seem ant times, there are a lot of worse places to be.
If I would’ve told you in 2021 that Purdy would have had the success in the league he’s had or generated as much sports talk fodder as he has, which would you think less probable?
Honestly, he doesn’t have much of a supporting cast any more.
True but the perception is that most people think Purdy is still surrounded with all pro players.
He gets a ton of credit. A few naysayers, but they are in the minority.
Have you heard any other QBs getting as much public support from their teammates?
If Shannahan is the reason for Purdy’s success and it is the system, then Trey Lance should have been a success.
You re right but fans and the media are not logical. Most people at my work thought Purdy’s success 2 years ago was all due to Shanahan and the supporting cast
McCaffrey doesn’t fumble then SF wins. Dre Greenlaw doesn’t get injured SF wins. Decent kicker SF wins. Deebo makes a play instead of nothing SF wins.
Blocking the best pass rusher in the league on 3rd and goal would have also been wise.
