I can't think of any others besides him and Hunter. Is he the second high school recruit to transfer to another P5 under Otz?

Unfortunately, the game has changed. A scholarship in waiting isn't enough in this new landscape. I think the hope is that you hit on some HS to be able to get some contributors at a discount. In order for that to be effective, though, I think you need to give these kids some run on the court and allow them to adjust to the pace of the game when there are opportuinities to do so while limiting impact in the W/L column. I have a feeling Nojus will have us wishing we had kept him around and engaged.I never understood why Rock came in early and lost a year while he filled out his body. Maybe TJ is ahead of the game and his strategy is bringing in highly rated HS recruits, treating them well while here and then bringing them back in a couple of years later after they get experience and become mature men. An example would be Gilbert of this strategy. For other CF old timers, it was always my understanding that Duane Crutchfield and Tinsley were placed in Jucos by ISU coaches and told a scholly was waiting for them. Bill Snyder used that strategy at KSt to build his program.
Is Pitt really considered a "high-major"?Interesting he landed at another high-major, I figured he'd transfer down. Hope he does well.
I feel like DWat was never abel to get comfortable. He almost always had a quick hook, never had time to adjust to game speed, and tried to do much while on the court at times because he never knew when he would get another opportunity.I mostly agree with you, however we kept Damarion around for 3 years. He never seemed to get a whole lot better.

I had assumed they'd fired Capel, I was surprised he's still there. He's made the tourney just the once at Pitt - and 4 times total in 16 years of coaching.

He can transfer back and then the Pitt boards can be like "omg college sports are dead!"Nojus is one I fear we'll wish we had hung on to a year or two from now. Same with Jelani Hamilton who had a decent year for Georgia State.
ne dimension coachAm I correct in thinking out of the seven combined freshmen in our last two recruiting classes, the only one left is Milan?
How many did we want back of those 7?Am I correct in thinking out of the seven combined freshmen in our last two recruiting classes, the only one left is Milan?
