No it did not. If we could have been really creative and had some time we could have got a shot with the mammal in the foreground and the swans, a Canada goose and maybe a mallard in the background all in the same shot. But I doubt everyone would have stayed still for us that long.
Please send the Canada geese down to Iowa where they belong.

Not exactly sure.
As we are sitting in the last part of the visit, my indecisive son says he wishes he would have done a different degree area to see if he had interest. I added 30 minutes to the days visit but this kid better be thankful I’m his dad as I got him into that department to talk about that major.

So, she's working the bar. We met and said hi, but it was super busy. I'm eating with my foreman and his family right now. She'll be here for a while yet.

Well, that girl I hung out with for a few weeks last year came in. And the bar is emptying out. I'm freaking out.

Relax, the suit will cover your nervousness.

This has happened on each of my kids’ visits to ISU. They discuss your major and then they tell you that you have enough electives to get a second major and employers love that. Electives in the past we were told to explore and get well rounded and that is why they require them. Now it’s so you can get a second major or a couple minors??

Is this what is pushed at other colleges? We have hit a couple smaller ones but many are affiliated with certain faiths and several of their credits are to attend church or faith based.

So I told her that I'd love to tell her about how this all got started and she said that she is working everyday for like the next 3 weeks.

Gotta take Little JM to get some stuff checked out at the UofI Children’s hospital today. My morning interaction:

*puts on script Cyclone CF hoodie*

Mrs JM: Seriously.
Me: What?
Mrs: Is that not a little petty?
Me: nope *puts on Cyclone hat* You know exactly what’s next to that hospital. Would you go to the beach without sunblock?
