I am guessing by the 1st episode of season 49 we will know who the other two players are for season 50.

I still find it odd they are already hyping up season 50 when 49 hasn't even aired yet. Especially since we now know 2 from 49 will be on the 50 cast. I don't recall them revealing the cast for 40 this early. I also wonder if at some point Jeff announces 50 will be his last season as host or is he going to keep going as it seems like that time is getting near too. Jeff turns 64 in November but you would never know it as he still has a lot of energy hosting the show and he's a big reason why the show has been successful as long as it has too probably.

Wow. Jeff looks great for 64. Maybe we should all move to Fiji for half the year.

With the kind of money he's getting paid, he will stick for a while I would imagine.

they were concerned about the roster leaking so wanted to get out ahead of it.

All I ask: when the time comes, replace Jeff with a popular former contestant at $1M per season and put that spare change toward the return of 39 day seasons

If Colby is the best option, I think you go outside the survivor people and get someone like the Deal or No Deal Island host or have open auditions. Colby is a nice guy but is kind of stiff.

I just hope it's not someone like Boston Rob or Sandra. I'm neutral on Parvarti, there was a time she hosted a live after-show for the Caramoan season and Blood vs Water season and did a decent job.

Here's one list of suggestions:
Survivor: 10 Former Players Who Could Replace Jeff Probst As Host (According To Reddit)

Take Boston Rob and Penner off the list and I could make arguments for about anyone else left on it. Colby and Rob Cesternino would be good choices and if you've watched any of the RHAP exit interviews I posted Rob does a pretty good job with that.
