Making a premature assumption Gilbert and Jones can secure a roster spot on respective teams, what's the count on # of ISU players active in NBA? Would it be 6?

Monte is an unrestricted free agent, but I think it’s safe to assume he’ll land somewhere. Are you counting 2-way deals? I think 6 is very unlikely, but it would be awesome.

Congratulations Keshon. It is time to show them the Cyclone Way- tenacious defense and getting down hill to the bucket. When he was healthy, he was almost unguardable with a filthy ability to finish at the rim.

Honestly, the pacers should sign monte.
I mentioned in another thread that Chris Paul would be a wise option but so would Monte.
They need someone to TAKE CARE of the ball. As soon as Tyrese left game 7, they were super sloppy.

KG at full strength has a good shot of sticking. When he was healthy his defensive pressure and ability to get in the lane is NBA level.
If he had zero injury trouble last season and could play full-strength all year, I wonder if he could've done enough to get into draft range. We'll never know, of course.

I think even at full strength Curtis and Milan are the guys on last year’s team with best nba possibilities.

That said, if healthy, Gilbert and Lipsey are elite at Big 12 level, at least as much as those other two.

Are we sure they are going to try to be good next year?

Gilbert started for Washington in the NBA summer league today. Just drew a foul with throwing back his head on contact.
