The latest…looks like BYU may be looking for a new QB

LOL. The accusations are not a laughing matter, but the fact that he was facing a 7 game suspension for an honor code violation is just hilarious. BYU gonna BYU though.

Not so good for the Cougs.

Little too much motion when soaking?

If he now stays this stinks to high heaven - or whatever they believe in.
I'm sure he's gone no matter what. Kind of reminds me of the Sam Mack case at ISU. Even though Mack was acquitted of 1st degree robbery charges, Orr told him he needs to leave anyway.

I think he's getting suspended for 7 games regardless because of the honor code. Wouldn't surprise me if he's transferring to avoid that penalty... just which SEC team is going to take that risk?

Auburn? Maybe?

This was always going to be a he said/she said situation. He admits to premarital sex and a suspension to “clear” his name and she probably receives money to go away

Way up there
He isn't staying at BYU, why would anyone there be trying to pay her off? Crazy that this will probably lead to him getting a big paycheck from another school.

I revel in the fact that in today’s totally corrupt world someone is cute enough to have something called an honor code.

Exactly! So here is the ONE guy who was violating the "Honor Code." Meanwhile, the rest of our little angels will go on to play clean, fair football while being totally honest and ethical both on the field and off.

Um, no. That's just not how it works. I mean, the athletes felt entitled in the 70's when I was there. I can't even imagine now. (And I'm not generalizing, I know there are a lot of good kids. Just like there were 50 years ago. But just my own experiences at ISU, oh boy there were some doozies).

Is Tennessee still looking for a QB after letting their starter go? I could see them willing to pay hush money to this woman to make this go away if it meant getting a QB.

I’m assuming he already has that school lined up and they’re paying to make this go away. No one from BYU would pay as it still doesn’t resolve the honor code issue.

Could just as easily be him or someone connected to him paying it. Getting that all to go away will make it easier to get that next big paycheck. Or the next school could be paying if he already has that lined up

Ironically enough... Tennessee and UCLA did a swap.

App State QB transferred to UCLA. then Nico portaled, and transferred to UCLA. UCLA QB hits portal, and transfers to Tennessee.
