With that season finale it can't be the last season, can it?
I've heard there is going to be another season... but not positive.

It's possibly my favorite show ever.... it's at least up there somewhere in the top 5 for sure.

Heads of State on Prime, not bad at all. Could be edited better for a better mix of humor and serious, but all-in-all, quite a romp with Idris Elba (I admit, we turned it on because of him) and John Cena as the actor-turned-POTUS.

Have seen much worse at my local movie theater volunteer gig this year.

Watched 3 movies over the weekend and two of them had Idris Elba in them. Watched Sonic 3, Heads of State and the Minecraft movie. Sonic 3 was clearly the best. Heads of State was at least entertaining, even though I called the ultimate villain as soon as the action started. Jack Quaid has a small role, but he's pretty funny in it. And the Minecraft movie was just woof. Glad my kids had no desire to go to the theater to watch it.

Wait, what? Elba was in the Minecraft movie?

I'm a hard grader, but I loved the latter. Dennis. Go now, Dennis.

Have to say though, not many shows could pull off an entire episode based on one conversation like The Bear did. I think what makes it so special is that they're not afraid of taking the time in scenes to convey the emotions on a deeper level. It's rare, but even more rare to do it and not lose their audience in the process.

Finally caught up on Stick. Really liking this show. Owen Wilson showing some range and the characters are enjoyable. Looking forward to Timothy Olyphant, that dude kills me.

I've kind of hit a rut....looking for a new show to dive into as I have a lot of travel coming up. Preferably on Netflix or Prime as I can download those offline. Just finished Tires which was great.

Did season 4 of the Bear get better?

The third season just seemed to be too much forced toxic energy almost every episode.

The one with Michael and Tina was one of the best of the series though imo.

My wife has gotten me to start watching Sirens on Netflix. It seems to be pretty good but I've only watched 2 episodes. She's excited about it.

Season 4 is more like season 1 and 2. There is some toxicity but its kind of the family thing. Season 3 seemed too artsy, was a very odd season.

If you like British crime shows, check out Dept Q. Actually more Scottish but still an enjoyable first season. Netflix.

May want to put on subtitles; sometimes they are hard to understand.

I've liked all four seasons. I get why it can turn some people off, because it's definitely different than your average show as it can really dwell on things, but part of its appeal to me is that nothing gets wrapped up neatly in a two minute conversation.
