I still didn't see the Tang talking to any of the astronauts in those clips. It might have but the astronaut knew it would kill his space career if he admitted he heard the Tang speaking.

Where do you think Aldrin got his Buzz?

But we digress.

You guys carry grudges longer than I do, I guess.

That whole thing turned out to be nothing and was talked about for like 3 days in the news. It’s not like we were under NCAA investigation for 3 years.

To each their own

Guessing Tang agreed to the interview as long as Spygate was not going to be discussed. IMHO.

Yeah Grant said it was agreed upon to not be brought up. Not surprising - there hasn't been talk about it from either side in a very long time.

Wild to me Tang agreed to this. Can you imagine TJ doing an interview for EMAW or something?

Tang may have been trying to earn our forgiveness . . . without actually asking for it or apologizing.

I don't really believe this, but it is fun to think about it.

Really glad that Grant got Tang for the interview. I enjoyed it. However, I don't think I could have resisted asking about the incidents with TJ and the mop. When he talked about his 'welcome" at Hilton, it almost seemed like he wanted to talk about it. I suspect that there was an indirect agreement not to go there (and not to admit to such an agreement), probably brokered by the K-State journalist. Grant and Jeff certainly took the high road. They are better people than me!
I don't invite a guy under those conditions. **** that guy.
Did he ever apologize? He doesn't deserve to breathe Cyclone air. Shame on them for hosting him. Boycott in progress. ;)

I actually thought that it was a good interview, and I understand not poking at the sore spot. What does it accomplish? To be clear, I think that Tang should be man enough to openly say "I ****** up. In the heat of the moment I sincerely believed something crazy was going on. I was wrong, and I am a dumbass for having believed it." But, many people prefer to pretend their dumb **** moments never happened, rather than admit to them.

As a result of this interview, I no longer hate Jerome Tang, and I'm over the huddle recording accusations ********. I don't think he's a phony. I think he's an ok, albeit unintelligent, guy. :)

To each their own

“Sorry I made a mistake”

1 second, easiest thing for any responsible adult to do.

I’ll apologize to you right now if you can dream up a time I wronged you and I won’t even need to go back and research if I actually did wrong you.

Immature, yes. Horrible? I wouldn't go that far. Are some of them horrible? Yes, but I don't think being too weak to admit that you ****** up makes you horrible, in and of itself. It's a bad imperfection, though, especially in a leader.

If I tell the entire world you're a cheater (or a racist as Tang's family claimed), and it's proven I just made it up...yeah I'm a horrible person if I can't give a quick "my mistake".
