That is one of multiple reasons I have essentially given up golfing. It's nearly impossible not to run into a group like this every round that slows everyone else up. And 80yo course rangers can't/won't force people to move, so every group behind them has a crappy experience. The public courses are packed 4 minutes apart on the weekends; requiring 5+ hours to finish a round. I like golfing, but the experience isn't worth it to me anymore.

The dude kept coming after him. Sometimes he punched him, sometimes he simply threw him aside. Zero punches would have been thrown if little big man had gotten in the cart and left after the 1st, 5th or 50th opportunity he had to do so.

He could have really walloped him if he wanted to. There are plenty of golfers I would like to throw into a lake but I don't have the skill or strength to do it like this guy did.
Not being a big hockey type guy who could beat up someone else, I would’ve just driven to the tee of the next hole about 20 minutes earlier. Doesn’t make for a fun video but keeps me from getting beat up and I get to do what I came there for.

I mean, if you don't like golf enough to spend 5 hours on it, that's fair. Otherwise, you aren't qualifying for the open, just sit back and relax.

It's a funny video but engaging those guys was never going to go well. Ask to play through, skip the hole, or call the clubhouse all come before yelling and screaming at a couple guys who are so drunk they can hardly stand.
If they had been at the tee for 15-23 minutes as they say at different moments of the video it is pretty clear that they asked to play through. They mention it during the video again if I remember correctly. But when they do "tough guy" goes back up in the tee box and almost falls down trying to tee up his ball.

I'm sorry, but if you pay for a round, you don't have an obligation to give up part of your round to a couple of guys more interested in getting drunk and being asshats on the course. They came to the course to be pricks and **** with other people. It probably works for "tough guy" 95% of the time. Not today...

I love golfing. It's a great way to relax, but I'm not retired and I have other things I need to do. I simply don't have the ability to dedicate over half a day to the course. If we could get it back down to 4 hours or less, I'd be thrilled. I'm not asking everyone to play speed golf, but playing ready golf and letting people play through would go a long way towards cleaning up rounds duration.

I'm speculating but I don't think hockey guy had been waiting 20 minutes. I think they had been behind at least one and maybe more groups that had all been waiting behind two drunken clowns. Everyone had been waiting forever. This stuff doesn't happen in a couple of minutes. It's a build-up happening over an hour or two of BS.

FFS be an adult an drive to the next hole. Everyone is a mouth breathing neanderthal in that video.
