In the comments some of those guys think he is Bill Lambeir. lol
I have to laugh at the "tried to injure our star player" comments. Dudes, he grabbed his upper leg and tried to prevent him from getting back on defense quickly. The player pulled against it and was out of it easily. It likely wouldn't have even been noticed if the player didn't make a big scene and draw a T. There was no risk of a trip - it was more akin to a jersey tug in soccer. That being said, if you are objective about it you want a player who is willing to do any little thing to help your team win even if relegated to the bench. That's Georges.
I get holding a grudge but a portion of that fanbase is ridiculous.
I think about Jerry Jones and Terrell Owens. Owens famously celebrated a TD by running over 50 yards away to pose on the Cowboys star in the middle of the Texas Stadium field. After his next TD he did it again and George Teague ran after him and knocked him down earning an ejection and a fine.
Did Jerry hold a grudge about TO disrespecting the Cowboys? Not only did Jerry later sign Owens, at the welcome press conference Jerry had giant bowls of popcorn as a nod to his Showtime nickname. When asked if TO's star celebrations bothered him Jerry said with a laugh what he had done before the celebrations (scored TDs) bothered him a lot more.
