I honestly think 2 of the freshman need to be legit. Who’s our three point shooters outside of Milan? Do not say Jefferson and lipsey, they are not consistent in that regard. Honestly, I think we are pretty bad next year. Curtis Jones isn’t here to save us.
Heise, for one. Did you know he ended the season shooting 41% from 3?

Batemon is an elite shooting prospect as well, and as a recruit he was ranked similarly to Milan. I think the expectation should be that he plays and provides shooting off the bench.

But moreso than the freshman, this season will make or break (in my opinion) on Joshua Jefferson and his ability to make the leap to superstar. He has all the tools to be elite, he just needs to get the right mentality and clean up some loose ends. He shot almost 40% from 3 in conference games last year - if he can keep the percentage in the upper 30s while increasing the shots from 1.7 to ~4 per game, it will open up everything else.

Jefferson shooting four 3s per game and making 1.6 (40%) is a NPOTY candidate.

I dont know if I'd use the word bad, but I'm thinking a 6 or 7 seed and a 2nd round exit. Lipsey/Jefferson/Milan are good enough to get any team into the tourney.

I'm not feeling the transfers at all compared to the quality of guys we've been accustomed to, and the freshman.....well they are freshman in the Big 12.

I don't think this guy mentioned in the thread title will play at all. Every year we hype up roster spots 1-13 and then only 8 or 9 are any good.
Two man game w Tamin and Joshua needs to be core identity. Run everything off of that. If they can figure a few other sets out feel we’ll be ok on Offebse (likely step back in pace and scoring from last year)

And trust “TJ will have the D on lock”

Which should be made into a Tshirt
