    I'm enjoying cheering against Oklahoma and Texas all of the time now. I loved seeing Butler beat Oklahoma last night. Oklahoma = the Nebraska of the SEC.

    Only a small number of schools closed for the 2009 pandemic (for example, only two in Minnesota), and when they did, it was for no more than a few days while the school was cleaned. And that virus was actually deadly to young people who would not have otherwise died within the next few years...

    What are your thoughts on teams like Baylor who refer to their women's team as "Lady Bears"? As if somebody would return from a disastrous camping trip and say, "I got mauled by a lady bear!" That's weird, right?

    I don't think we would want him anyway. While he was coaching at ISU, he said it was his dream job, and he could see finishing out his career here. And then he left. He could never come back and be as beloved as he was before.

    Basketball Walk-Ons

    5'8" 130 lbs. Played in 6th, 7th, & 8th grades but quit because I couldn't stand half-court 6 on 6 Currently live vicariously through my daughter who plays 4th-grade traveling basketball Oh, wait. Walk-on for the men's team? I guess I'm probably out.
