    Remind me the point of going to 105? Just seems like such a random number. If the coaches can manage them, keep it where it was. Hate to see kids put in walk on years and then coaches have no choice but to cut them loose.

    Quick question for those softball minds watching the game. Starting pitcher cruising along. 2 outs no one on. Removed from game. Next pitcher gives up HR then walk. Why does thst happen?? Doesn’t appear injury related.

    I’m assuming this isn’t a done deal and we are still negotiating, so I’m not sure these comments are timely. Longer this plays out, better for us. He does have to look at fit, and here he’d be one of the main, if not the main component. LSU bringing in lots of guys could end up a **** show...

    Also they got a guy (Dedan??) that’s a friend of Jefferson from the LA area. Seems like there’s definitely a lot of smoke here.

    This is what’s happening. Agents beating the bushes for best deal. It’s what they are hired for I guess. Not the most upstanding bunch but they have a purpose for their clients.

    This. I think us older folks have to understand that we aren’t the target demographic anymore I guess. It’s a new world and it will be the only world these younger folks know and ratings haven’t suffered. So, I guess from thst perspective, it’s all still good.

    I noted at the time it’s easy to say I’m all in after a tough loss. After some reflection and a $2-3 offer, makes that decision a bit more difficult. It’s not a question of loyalty. It’s doing right for yourself. He put in the work. He should reap the reward. But, the portal giveth and...

    Put yourself in the position of a parent that has no long term ties to Iowa State. You’d tell your kid to take the $$ and don’t look back.

    This. Collective is doing all it can, but just plugging holes and water is coming in way to fast to plug them all. I don’t think schools paying players directly will help either. It’s the have alots and the rest of us.
