Pretty much. We used insurance from a travel credit card for the rental (National/Enterprise). We were on the hook for $2k initially when returning the replacement vehicle to Heathrow. The claim took a bit of time, but ultimately didn't cost us anything and our actual auto insurance is none the... -

I rented a MG HS PHEV at Heathrow back in May. Promptly crashed it 2 hrs later in Oxford. -
