    I was off work today, so like any sane person I watched the livestream of today's FSU board of trustees meeting. The Chair said 2-3 times about this topic, "we may be coming back to you sooner rather than later," so we may see them withdrawing by the deadline on 15th.

    It's because Torvik's model is predicting a good year for Keyontae Johnson, his top-rated player in the conference for the preseason. Not saying that's right or wrong, but that's why they're above us at this point.

    Yeah, when he talked about the top 20-30 teams breaking off (with the assumption we would not be in it), I was sort of at peace with it. It’s like the new Big 12 - we’re not going to compete with the top dogs of the SEC/Big 10, but it’s going to be fun as hell because it‘ll still be good...
