Not sure why so many here ***** about the offense and its focus on Audi. She is clearly one of the most efficient high level scorers in the HM ranks. And both Jada and Addy had 40 point games playing with Audi IIRC.

Now if you want to ***** about the defense and the staff's inability to cover for Audi's lack of mobility, have at it.
My problem is it is so one dimensional. I have no issue with Audi being the focal point but there has been no variety. It has always been the same: pass to Bridget, pass to Ashley, now pass to Audi. There were a lot of games when we forced balls to Audi.

Because it didn't work. Teams figured out how to handle the one trick.

Audi doesn't have to be a good defensive player.....she just has to be not terrible and some games it was pretty bad.
Pretty bad? She was a revolving door. Terrible. Literally can not turn and just walks towards people and holds her arm up. Show me a worse starter in all of college bball?

In the biggest game of the year, the loss to Syracuse, Audi scored 37 points. She went 17-25 from the field.
The rest of her teammates scored 26.
The rest of her teammates went 9-42 from the field.
The rest of her teammates went 3-22 from 3.
The problem ain’t Audi.

Those are expected stats when the offense is designed around you. 3-22 isn't good, but the rest of the team doesn't have plays designed for and practiced for them. Please know, I am not putting Audi down at all, I'm just saying Addy and Jada deserve and have earned more, I believe they will and should go find it.

Also Syracuse wasn't the biggest game of the year, it was a consolation prize for a not very successful season.

Addy and Jada both missed shots that a big time college player should make a majority of. They had brutal shooting games when the stakes were the highest.
Audi wasn’t keeping them from going in.

Ajoje, who Audi was defending had 23 points. So defense was an issue. Offense Audi is great, defense not so much.

Rest of the team can’t shoot worth crap. 9-42 from the field. 3-22 from 3. Perhaps if they could prove they could make a shot we wouldn’t be a one trick pony.

Looking at the tracker, Okie St makes 3 conference teams with 6 or more. So many players with paltry statistics. Are there any we recruited, are there some we think we can do better with? When you are low on funds, you will have to take a chance on some of those. Hopefully a couple like EP and Belanger from a lower level. I still think if Audi stays, CBF stays. If Audi goes, time to start fresh. If all 3 of your stars leave, the universe is trying to tell you something.

37 players from the Big 12 so far have announced their intentions to leave even before the portal opens. So far there's no more than 4 that I would be interested in if I was a conference coach. Two from Okie Lite and two from ISU. There is a guard from AZST that averaged 19 points a game at Denver but sat out this year with a foot injury. So who knows whether she could play at this level. Over 300 have declared nationwide and I'd guess no more than 10 of them would be an asset to top programs. However there's always a few who just were victims of a starting 5 that were so good they couldn't crack the lineup. But most of them JUST CAN'T SHOOT - PERIOD !!!!!!!

This is a wild take. During CBF's tenure 3 pointers have been his favorite shot. The only very good teams he had added a center who was good. Audi and Addy were the dynamic duo which along with 3 pointers would make a pick your poison situation. It hasn't worked out.

I'd like to ***** about the fact that a very high percentage of the feeds to Audi were ill advised or incomplete for an easy turnover.

Audi does not pin her defender well and when she is double teamed we still try to get it to her. Hell, this season there were times she was triple teamed and we still tried to force it to her. That HAS to be the coaches orders because no ball player in their right mind tries to do that. It is just stupid. I don't blame most of these young women leaving. They don't want the rep of being complete morons.

The problem is the coach that forces the ball to Audi in bad situations and has no alternate plan. Audi is very good when she gets the ball in hand. She does not pin her man well enough; so she gets the ball taken more often than she should. You mention that she had to fight if a triple teamed. She should never have to do that because we. Should not pass it to her. We should pass to one of the 2 other open players.

Adding to this, it’s not Audi’s fault but after watching Ashley Joens for 5 years I’m beyond ready for a new system. Or any kind of system, period.
