For this segment, we’ll explore songs with lyrics/title that reference SPECIFIC names of establishments that provide food as a primary or significant offering, including these categories of convenience store, restaurant, bar&grill and grocery store.

We DO NOT ACCEPT generic references to those terms. So, something like “I went to the restaurant” wouldn’t count.

It must involve a real-life establishment, not fictional. (Defunct eateries are fair game).

OTN is presented each week on Cyclone Fanatic by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and cyclones500.

“The girl at Stuckey’s, her face was a mess.”

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's
Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein

(Yes, it's a real place)

Double it up with:

I saw a werewolf drinkin' a piña colada at Trader Vic's
And his hair was perfect

Not a song, but one of my favorite albums covers. Head East, Flat as a Pancake. Restaurant was Rite-Way-Diner and still in business seven years ago.St. Louis.
