Milan Momcilovic commits to Kentucky

Please help me understand. Every university, including ISU, is allowed $20.5 million NIL for ALL athletes in ALL sports, but Momcilivic gets $6 million ? He was not even 1st team all conference. ISU plays by the rules. Everyone else cheats their a$$e$ off.

No. Every university is $20.5 in revenue sharing.

NIL is a separate animal that is essentially only limited to what the school can get outside parties to pay for.

And it's not cheating, it's having rich morons who want to throw millions at a college kid so they can brag to other rich morons that their school is good at a sport.

When your best player and All American gets hurt that really hurts your team as the tournament goes on. It was not due to the lack of depth. If any teams best player gets hurt they are going to have issues.
Not said enough. Josh was the #2 Kenpom player in the Country last year.

Bidunga is getting less, despite being a big.

He would have gotten more, had he held out and had UK desperately trying to beat out UL

This is unequivocal. Basic market behavior
"Bidunga signed way earlier and is getting paid around the same" he's the highest paid big, FWIW.

Tounde Yessoufou just got paid from St Johns around the same that Milan's making.

It's reported that Thomas Hough received $8M to return to Florida (a team Milan was originally rumored to go to)

It's almost like *gasp* some teams were holding out to dump money into a player and would have regardless of when they signed

I understand what you're saying with supply and demand, but the top transfer in the portal would have gotten paid as the top transfer in the portal, regardless of when he committed.

Bidunga is getting $4.5 to $5 as the best big, typically higher salaries than wings

Milan $6 to $6.5

Yessoufou NIL- exactly! It supports what I’m saying. The market will be higher for the few remaining impact guys, than when other options are available

This is basic stuff. Supply being less later unequivocally resulted in Milan getting more. Kentucky and Louisville’s offers increased over last 45 days

We're doing the same exact thing, just don't have the same numbers as the blue bloods.
