Fresh warm curds are amazing. You know a fresh curd when they squeak in your mouth
Hooks cheese Mineral point Wi, has some amazing curds. only sell them a couple a days a week. Grabbed some at the gas station one day sampled the bag once I got in the vehicle went right back in and grabbed a second one.

I remember when I was a kid we always used to stop at the Goldfield cheese Mart on the way to my grandparents house in northern Iowa. The cheese curds from there were amazing.

Shredded cheese eaten straight from the bag
We stopped buying the bags of shredded cheese because of the anti-caking agents and preservatives, it tastes better to get a block and shred it yourself.

Sharp cheddar and aged white cheddar are probably my favorites but I love most of the cheeses.

Gf has me shredding cheese when she cooks almost every time. It really DOES make a difference to taste.

Asiago is prob my fave "nibbles" cheese on a charcuterie tray kind of thing. Its like parmesan's even better-looking sister.

Swiss, not so much by itself, but on ham or turkey. And the good swiss, not the cheap bland rubbery kind.

No to imitation cheese (this means you, Velveeta), but most every other kind is great.

I especially love a veiny blue cheese with a great piece of bread and a nice Cabernet. Have eaten it in many countries, but you know the best Bleu anywhere ever?

That's right...

Damn. Now I have to go mortgage the farm in order to buy some.

I'll never understand how people can eat a cheese that has mold in it.

Sorry to have to break it to you, but everything you eat has mold spores on it unless you have boiled them away.
