That would be an unwise move

Oh wow. I don't even know where to begin with that one....Why would they dismiss him?
That would be an unwise move
Good for them imo. Mostly bluster from both sides

he still thinks TT will do the “noble” thing and not play him despite every single thing to the contrary, your better off banging your head against the wall then trying to get him to see reason for this oneOn what legal basis?
That Cody Campbell and Sorsby got their fee fee’s hurt, since that is apparently now an affirmative defense in the State of TexasOn what legal basis?
But, but, that statement from the AD, which screams 'We're playing him!' didn't explicitly use those words so they're obviously going to do the 'right' thing.he still thinks TT will do the “noble” thing and not play him despite every single thing to the contrary, your better off banging your head against the wall then trying to get him to see reason for this one
Likely on the basis that schools have publicly alluded it to it being from as retribution for rostering a guy the courts are deciding onOn what legal basis?
But where does Tech have legal ground? You just can't sue because your feelings are hurt.Likely on the basis that schools have publicly alluded it to it being from as retribution for rostering a guy the courts are deciding on
It would be best just to cut all ties with him. TTU could honor a scholarship, but he likely would leave TTU and enroll at a JUCO anywayGet a hold of yourself.
Playing him is the issue, not being on the team
Had he been on the team and known to not be playing, let’s say due to injury, no one would be calling for his dismissal
And given he got a court ruling based on a “medical” issue, whether we believe it or not, Tech likely has to be careful in dismissing him now
We all read what we want to read when a statement says nothingBut, but, that statement from the AD, which screams 'We're playing him!' didn't explicitly use those words so they're obviously going to do the 'right' thing.

Still having him on the team, whether he plays or not, is a distraction that isn't needed. The best is to not play him
Everything else is window dressing
The best is to not sue on his behalf in the first place when he so obviously broke the rules. Also maybe give a thought to the optics and do it outside of Lubbock. The best is to not play him

Unfortunately, you essentially can with good enough lawyersBut where does Tech have legal ground? You just can't sue because your feelings are hurt.
Tech can try to sue but a judge would throw it out on the account they don't have legal ground to stand on.Unfortunately, you essentially can with good enough lawyers
Billable hours are undefeated.
Like I said, bluster from both sides. The edict doesn’t represent much of anything given most schools already don’t play them
Tech sues. edict removed to avoid needless legal costs. Teams still don’t play them. Like now
Imo a super league was always and is still the only final outcome.I don’t know what to think. Texas tech is arguably the richest big 12 school, I don’t know if it would be smart to refuse to play them. They might bolt out of the big 12 the first chance they get if conference teams refuse to play them.

Either way TT messed up hard here of their own doing (mostly Cody’s doing but he is the AD at this point)
Now do Hunter DekkersGet a hold of yourself.
