The NFL suspended an an Iowa State player for a year, because of gambling he’d previously at Iowa state but didn’t come to light until he was a Bronco. I hope sorsby still gets suspended a year, when he’s eligible for the NFL.

Jaime kind of blew it on this comment because he didn't explain WHY Iowa State had to back out of the bowl game.

When your coaching staff decides without warning to leave for another school and a huge portion of your roster follows him out the door, you literally are not able to field enough of a team to even play a bowl game.

Despite the unfairness of these circumstances, we swallowed hard and paid the fine. Just like when Hunter Dekkers and other players were banned for life from the NCAA for making only a small fraction of the gambling bets Sorsby made, ISU took their punishment like a man (unlike Texas Tech).

Hell yeah, Texas Tech should pay the conference's legal fees!
