They should at least be in the Yacht Rock Hall of fame.Probably more than some already in.
But not an act I'd think, "Oh wow, they're not in?!"
Basically a nice Aussie Soft rock act that had a few hits/albums.
But are people saying, "Yeah, I was heavily influenced by them?" Probably not.
No disrespect.
Yes already is in HOF, we're talking about Little River Band!I saw them in concert, so Yes!
Although there's no "statue" of limitations on # of acts from Australia, so far AC/DC is only one in the Hall (unless we count The Bee Gees, which I considered a UK band primarily).Probably more than some already in.

Thin Lizzy has been nominated, but not in yet.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds I don't even think has been nominated.
Personally, I'm not gung-ho on either of those, but plenty of artists in HOF I'd purge to make room if it worked that way.
It would not surprise me if both are in before end of decade.
I have no idea why I had in my head TL being Aussie. (post edited)Well, Thin Lizzy were from Ireland, so there was that part.
I think the next and maybe only Australian band to get in will be Inxs.
Yacht Rock that was "Sailing" with Christopher Cross. They should at least be in the Yacht Rock Hall of fame.

A decade or so earlier, but The Easybeats are, from an Australian viewpoint, definitely a major rock act who were very very successful there.I count about five Australian acts starting with Bee Gees, Crowded house.
