Should The Little River Band be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

“Reminiscing“ was always a favorite romantic song for us. I don’t remember ever seen the video before. I was expecting to see a couple in the park, not a band sitting around playing the song.
How the Guess Who is not in the HOF is crazy, 14 top 40 hits with 4 hitting #1 in N. America and they are not in? Throw in the hits of BTO by Randy Bachman and it's even worse, another 6 top 10 hits included one that reached #1.
Think Guess Who played at the White House when Prince Chuck came. Pat Nixon told Burton Cummings he was not to play American Woman.
Blasphemy. Remember the 2012 R & R Hall of Fame inductee Guns n Roses, Axl Rose refused to appear and they had maybe one good album with few tunes I care for. But, the band with the biggest debut album, great songs, most played now on rock songs radio-- Boston is NOT in the RRHF!
Yes was so, so popular when I was at ISU. Their songs were always played at parties.Yes already is in HOF, we're talking about Little River Band!

Also during my ISU years, Frampton Comes Alive was released. The big thing back then was to have a reel to reel system. People would have Frampton blasting out of their windows as you walked to class or to get groceries. That album was incredibly successful. Hard to believe it was 50 years ago.
I think your right -- 5 Aussie. The Bee Gees considered themselves a British band (particularly the Isle of Man) with strong ties to Australia. Midnight Oil had only one hit I can think of "Beds are burning" and inducted in 2022.
Midnight Oil is not in R&RHOF, but is in ARIA (I had to look it up, I couldn't remember for sure and didn't trust my memory).

RNR HOF needs new people to run it. They are clueless when it comes to music. So many great Rock and Metal bands are not in it right now. I think possibly down the road they should be in it but not until a lot of other bands go in first. Last I heard Iron Maiden is not in. If that is still the case, it's basically a BS thing.
Four Aussie RRHF inductees:

I've never really paid that much attention to the RnRHoF, until I see the list of inductees that comes out. I always figured it was like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Put up the money and we'll let you in because as others have said, some of those who are in and those who aren't in yet, it doesn't seem like a true Hall of Fame to me, more of a publicity thing.
They have a selection process and that is why Boston is not in it--money bribes do not seem like a part of it:
