Forget athletics, she might have a career in comedy. I legit lol'd reading that.

She is good at self deprecating humor. I wish I had the ability to laugh at myself when I was younger. It's a pretty special thing.

LOL. As I was typing this, she just sent me a video of her "high-jumping" over the cat on her bed to prove her prowess. That was the best thing I've watched in a long time.

Her cat was not amused.

@ImJustKCClone, no cats were hurt in the making of that video.

Your comment reminded me of this phrase my kids repeat daily

Had to share this here too...because nothing says "Easter" like a golden T-rex wearing bunny ears and carrying a basket full of painted eggs!

I thought that there were several people who were essentially saying if you ever recline your seat at all you are a callous, terrible human being who cares about nobody else and I thought that might have set him off.

That thread is a ridiculous black or white, no gray area thread - kind of like many of the basketball threads.
There were...but they left, and he just kept on coming. It just makes me sad that it fuels the "Boomers suck" narrative. The ones he was really going after at the end were more suggesting that he lacked empathy for fellow passengers, rather than telling he sucked because he reclined. But enough of that. I'll let it go so that we don't derail RTT. :D

Yeah, well, I couldn't get any more into the middle of it if I tried, given it usually is defined by 1945-1965, and I was born in 1955. Love it or leave it, I suppose. And frankly, I have no intentions of leaving it any time soon! :D

It's funny how they lump those 20 years into one group but there are lots of people born in 1945 that don't seem anything like those born in 1965.
I used to work with two men that were about the same age and they were like two completely different generations.

Sometimes it’s family dynamics. My folks were 40 when I was born. I literally went to school with a couple of my sisters classmates kids. I definitely had more conservative parents than most of them.

I just got an email from a semi familiar name. Wants to know if the bowling party is this weekend............

I finally fully realized who it was, since he usually goes by a nickname, and know he has had a few affairs. I’m now concerned about this “bowling party”.

He isn’t throwing his bowling balls at me no matter what.

In the bathroom getting some Sudafed. (Decided it was time to diet a few days ago so I usually hate the first week of adjustment and my system gets off). I looked a shelf up and see the cough drops, laying on top of them was a magnifying glass. That’s why I can’t find anything around here, who keeps a magnifying glass with the cough drops?

Each "generation" is supposedly defined by events but how that works is all over the place. I know my mother's family was greatly impacted by the Depression and it's pre-WWII aftermath. My dad, not so much as his dad had a good job with the railroad. My dad never talked politics much, or at all. Reading his WWII letters home though I noted a bunch of rants about big business which he than called "Capital" with a capital C. Talked about strikes back home and Roosevelt etc including a statement to his dad that he'd better stop talking or his dad would think he was a socialist. So, my mom who suffered as a poor family ends up being a died in the wool big biz supporting Republican and my dad, who's family was fine, ends up being a closet socialist.

Peeps think because I am a 1951 baby that Vietnam or something was my influencer. Wrong. My influencer was the original Warner Brother cartoons. Without the cast of Looney Tune characters, the assassinations, Vietnam, the racial strife and Nixon would have made me a total cynic. As it is I am deeply skeptical but not totes cynical. Yet.

Especially if he wants to meet in an alley.
