Pretty cool, but there are probably better ways to spend coin. Not sure if updating the concourse is still a priority.

One aspect of Hilton I would like updated is the court. Would not want to go the Oregon or Stanford route, but give the court some pop.

For some reason the AAC Tournament court caught my eye. The stars in the lane were somewhat transparent & seemed cool. Maybe go with Cy head logos instead of stars. I have no design skills, so I might be easily impressed.

We have a brand new court. Really doubt they'd do that now.

I assume you've seen the complaints about the NEZ video board. That was installed in 2011.

The Hilton displays were installed in 2006. I think they needed a combination voodoo priestess/exorcism ceremony in order to keep everything working this year.

And 'working' is generous. Quite a few dead pixels noticeable

I’d like it.

It’d be easier to watch replays from the area circle. Hate how I have to Jack my neck up for replays.

But.. I’m sure he’s just playin.

Is Jamie paying? What does something like that cost? Can't be that insanely expensive.

Back when TV revenue was <$8M/year.
Yep, if that.
IIRC engineers had to "beef up" the Hilton roof for the additional weight.

I'm assuming with new scoreboards you can make more revenue with ad space too.

Bigger screen = more ads and it is something that shoud improve the experience for everyone in the arena. It's been a while since I've been in hilton, how much larger could the board get before its too large for the arena? I have no idea what would go into adding a much larger video board to the areana, aesthetically and structurally. But its fun to think about.
